This option is for students who would like to make up one of their DCA / PRJ requirements, or for students who plan to complete all of the requirements for an A and would like to work toward an A+.
The purpose of the extra peer review is for you to get additional feedback on your Critical Essay draft from your peers so that you can incorporate this feedback into your revision process for your final portfolio. I am hopeful that the experience of completing a peer review will also be beneficial for your classmates since they will be exposed to additional models and writing / argument strategies.
Requirements for this assignment:
- Fill out the Extra Peer Review Option form below by November 5th and attach your revised Critical Essay draft. You must attached your revised draft and not your first draft.
- Present the strengths and points of further improvement on this draft on the day that we read it to prepare for class. Give us a request for specific feedback. You can do this as a pre-made video if you can’t make it to class or are uncomfortable with presenting.
- Incorporate changes, or account for what you decided not to change, in your final portfolio Writer’s Letter.
- (for A+ seekers only) Complete one additional peer review form for someone else who signs up for the Extra Peer Review option.
- (for A+ seekers only) Note that you must meet all other requirements for the A in order to earn an A+ (but you can still use your freebie on a PRJ or a DCA.)
