In this assignment, you’ll practice lateral reading: a form of reading that helps you check a source that you’re reading against other sources so that you better understand the biases of the source you are considering. Lateral reading can be used to understand the accuracy and credibility of any reading that you do (whether scholarly or non-scholarly). You can use this practice as you are choosing sources for your Collective Reflective Annotation entries, and as you start to get more of an understanding of the topic you are researching for Assignment 2.
